BALTO Codes - Vermont
Modeled after the Massachusetts Auto Register plates, the Vermont Auto
Registers were also made by Baltimore Enamel and were produced in three
separate lots - March and April of 1905 and May of 1906 (although there is also a
July, 1906 code on a replacement Register as well).  The 1907-08 second issue
Vermont porcelains were similarly marked with BALTO's distinctive coding system.
There were four batches of passenger plates produced, plus at least one
additional batch for dealers manufactured in May of 1907.
