FEBRUARY, 2014 - 1912 FARMINGTON, MO
With the discovery of this plate buried about 4 1/2 inches under the surface,
Farmington became the eighth jurisdiction in Missouri known to have issued
porcelain license plates - and the first new city to show up since 2006 when the
Chillicothe plates were found. It is nearly identical to the St. Louis 1912 discs.
FEBRUARY, 2014 - 1915 WALTON COUNTY, FL
Following the discovery of a 1913 Walton For Hire the previous October, this 1915
plate became the first porcelain known from the county for 1915 and sixth
different Walton variety to surface in all. The discovery of these two new Walton
plates so close together suggests that a dump site may have been found.
